The person on the cross is Brian.
Always look on the Bright side of Life!
Could also have been Craig
Or Wodewick!
Have you met my friend… Biggus Dickus? He has a wife you know… Incontenentia Buttocks.
Reminds me of a Noah’s ark tv special where they claimed to have found the ark and that there was a bunch of gold jewelry in it, including crucifixes. But…why would Noah have crucifixes?
Crucifixion was a common method of execution at the time. That must be Uncle Bob on the wall.
You’d think they’d hang a picture of Uncle Bob in happier times.
Chekhov’s Crucifix
Well of course they hung up a crucifix. You don’t think Mary and Joseph were bad Christians, do you?
foreshadowing
That’s a true Easter Egg!!!
Does someone know the story behind this painting? Is this really an oversight?
Considering the time it would take to paint something like this, I would seriously doubt the painter just didn’t think about. It’s most likely just foreshadowing.
Or a political requirement.
Been playing Assassin’s Creed 2 lately, that’s a piece of Eden.
Oof , those set managers screw up worse than the guys over there at Game of Thrones with the Starbucks cups
The House of Starbuck. The coffee is coming.
Felgercarb.
That’s a church reenactment. Joseph’s phone just wouldn’t stop ringing!
Art from this period is so weird. They’d dress the Saints and such in modern clothing. It’d be like us drawing the Apostles and such, wearing 2023 swag.
Check out Hindu devotional stuff, they’ve got Ganesha on excel and Krishna playing cricket and stuff.
