It’s the point of no return for something, but I suspect there’s still a future to fight for. Anyone pushing a full doomer view is trying to suppress you. In case the worst happens, you should try to build a community around yourself and support other people. Join a mutual aid group if you can (or start one). If you grow produce or something, talk to your neighbors and exchange resources.
If we build a strong foundation, nothing that happens can break us. In the worst case, they’ll try to break us and break themselves upon us. We need to be strong so we can come back stronger in the future.
I also enjoy food and don’t struggle with weight (well, I struggle with gaining it still at 31). I still have learned I don’t need to over-eat. Anything extra is just going to waste. I eat fairly slowly and enjoy it, instead of eating like I’m in a competition. I eat until I feel done eating and don’t usually go further. You can enjoy eating without over-eating. Honestly, it’s probably easier.
No, I promise you it isn’t. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Unless it says it’s for one person, it isn’t.
I don’t know if what your friends did was normal. Normal for them maybe. Every group of people I’ve shared pizza with its always been a discussion and been shared. Larger pizzas are cheaper by area, so it’s best to get a few of the largest size and split them instead of everyone getting a small to themselves.
For the Mac and Linux graphs the color seems to represent the rate. When it’s going up it’s green and when it’s going down it’s red.
It’s literally one more keystrokes, and people who do it often in a phone probably have it autocomplete. This message took much longer to write than probably every single time the OP has written MS as M$.
(VS)Code(ium) is great. (VSCode is MS fork of the OSS Codium.) It’s a popular editor with a lot of plugin for just about every language. It has an integrated console. It can do basic Version control (and you can use the console for anything more). It’s my favorite editor/IDE (not technically and IDE, at least out of the box). Just don’t do things you don’t understand. It’s that simple. The OP fucked around, and they found out what it does the hard way. It’s really easy to use if you have a basic understanding of things though.
They could have a warning though. I agree with you, but there are some easy ways to prevent this from happening. It just takes time to implement, and would be required in other places too. Is it worth the dev time? I doubt it.
This is a disease of GUIs. Most people are so used to having their hands held and being unable to make a mistake that when a GUI actually gives you the power to fuck up they don’t expect it. I promise you, if this user was using the CLI, this wouldn’t have happened as easily.
Personally, I’m pretty good with the CLI version, but sometimes I just use the Code VC interface. For some tasks (basic commit, pull, push) it’s pretty fast. I don’t know if it’s faster than CLI, but I switch between them depending on what I’m doing at that moment. Code has a built in console, so using either is pretty seemless and easy. If you only use the GUI you won’t ever understand it though. I think everyone should start with CLI.
Honestly, this is true for almost everything. GUIs obfiscate. They don’t help you learn, but try to take control away so you can’t mess up, and as an effect can’t do everything you may want.
Can you release them please?
Two wrongs don’t make a right, but if you die it doesn’t matter if you were wrong or right.
Fuck, serving size per container is 2 and one serving is 35% daily sodium. The whole thing is 70%! Damn.
What makes you say that? For me they all say the same as the article here.
(AP is still at 50%, but it should drop any moment. I didn’t compare the numbers between them or do the math, so it may just be a difference in rounding.)
Your comment about wealth seems to be dismissive. Sure, many people have more and do worse. That’s not an argument saying he can’t do more. That’s only an argument that he could do less also. He can obviously do more. Saying one thing is worse than another thing doesn’t excuse either. Both can and should improve.
I don’t know about the laws surrounding him as monarch. Maybe you’re right that he can’t say anything. I don’t believe this is totally true because the monarchs platform people frequently. Maybe they aren’t supposed to, but they obviously can do more than just keep quite. He could invite this woman to a state dinner, for example, and give her more of a platform. There are many options available. He is not powerless to do anything.
Yeah, most of the time the protesting groups bring their own armed people. They don’t take part in the protests generally though. They stand to the side and watch (at least for leftists, I think the right they’re more directly part of it).
Ideally the police is what you’re asking for, but I wouldn’t put much faith in them.
He is an extraordinarily wealthy man who has a platform that many will listen to. He can do a lot on his own to change things. Yeah, he doesn’t control the government, but do you think anyone has ever accomplished anything who doesn’t? Obviously havi g the government do what you wish on a whim is not the only method to get things done. Many have accomplished more good than him with less.
The crown greatly enriched themselves in the act. They should also pay reparations.
I disagree it reduced her influence. She’s now made a name for herself. She likely wasn’t given much influence to start with, but she’s been handed a platform to speak with now.
Are you kidding me? Where do you live? Personal pizza is a very common term everywhere I’ve lived on the east coast US. I’m pretty confident anywhere in the US, at minimum, that’s a common term.
