Not all crypto is this scammy. That’s for sure. Monero is actually used as money and people buy items with it on a fairly regular basis. XMRBazaar and MoneroMarket have ~2900 items and services you can purchase directly with Monero and that number is growing at a steady pace. Plus there are business directories like Monerica that have more businesses listed.

I dont. As I said, I actually don’t really know how to verify signatures. And even if I did, I know that you have to get the signature from somewhere else that is not run by them so that if they were compromised, the signature would not be compromised as well.
I will be totally honest, I’ve never verified the signature, primarily for the same reason as other people. It has HTTPS connection, and I would highly doubt that the website had been hacked while I was trying to download it. However, that really is a terrible excuse, and I really should do better in the future. But honestly, I don’t know how to verify signatures myself.
I mean, they can’t enforce it because there are so many instances all over the world. They can’t possibly target every instance administrator.
No, because a lot of people here care about digital sovereignty. Otherwise, we would still be on Facebook. So, if the main developers integrated that into the software, people would strip it out and fire the main software developer, or they would strip it out at every version that got released and then release it without it.
All of my computers had been Intel for many many years and here about a year and a half ago I got my first AMD computer because I had seen other people’s machines with AMD processors but I had never owned one for myself and so now I do I have one with an AMD Ryzen 5
I think so, the SE 3. With that said i won’t swear to that because I hardly ever look at Apple. I have been an Android user for more than a decade now and so have very little reason to keep up with their products other than they flagship.

Most definitely go back, but some stay, and those who do stay, cause a growth over time. The activity stays somewhat elevated and never goes back to exactly where it was. It’s always just a little bit higher.

Honestly, I don’t blame them one bit for wanting to bring data back on shore, where it’s theirs to control.

I use a repost bot to keep up with the Monero reddit but most of the time I find that I’m not interested enough to actually click the link to go to the original post on reddit and so most of the time I just stay here. I deleted my account during the API issues back in June of 2023 and have not had an account since then and do not plan on going back as I really enjoy it here.
As somebody mentioned below, subscribe to communities you find to be of interest and then set your default mode to subscribed so that you only see those that you’ve actually subscribed to and that goes away a lot. Only browse all if you absolutely run out of content and are still looking to read.
