I am desperate to start doing these. Find a bunch of Non Trek fans and just give them the most off the wall, insane, ridiculous no context screenshot and have them try to explain.

Reminds me of the Halo tv series:

“We didn’t play the games or read the novels, but its gonna be good!”

    (It was not good)

My God, the Halo series was so bad. So many ways they could’ve made a Halo Universe show that even casuals could watch, but nope, we gotta purposely step on and change everything the fans liked about the franchise.

So many stories they could’ve gone with that didn’t even involve Master Chief as well. And if they wanted to do their own thing they could’ve just picked a different time and place and used original characters telling whatever story. Fans would’ve been bummed to not see MC, but it would’ve avoided having to tip-toe around established canon.

But nope, they said screw canon, just make shit up instead.

Or M Night Shyamalan, who clearly understood Avatar perfectly but made it terrible on purpose so he wouldn’t have to make two more.

Nothing else explains keeping the Earthbenders in a quarry.

Ok, I have never seen Avatar the last Airbender, at all. Not the series, or the shitty movie, but even I am questioning how one would trap an earthbender in a quarry…much less multiple earthbenders. All I know is the firebenders started it.

Yeah, in the show they were imprisoned on a metal platform at sea, as far from rock as possible, which makes way more sense. At least until somebody invented Metalbending later in the series.

Agh, these replies keep stabbing me in the soul. The Last Airbender was such a bad movie, even for movie fans, let alone fans of the franchise.
