Judge has ruled that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House.
Judge Arthur Engoron, ruling Tuesday in a civil lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general, found that the former president and his company deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing.
hell yeah
ALL the defendants’ New York state business licenses, if I’m reading it correctly. That includes Donald Trump, Donnie Jr and lil Eric, and two others. From the judgement itself:
The order specifies NY General Business Law Section 130, which is the “Filing of certificates by persons conducting business under assumed name or as partners.”
So paraphrasing, that would be any corporation, partnership, LLC or other named business entity in the state of New York that belongs to or benefits any of the defendants, OR that belongs to or benefits “any other entity controlled or beneficially owned by Donald J. Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump, Allen Weisselberg, and Jeffrey McConney.”
I’m not an attorney, but the wording seems very specifically inclusive to every defendant, every business name or entity of every defendant, as well as any business entity that belongs to, is controlled by, or benefits any defendant, that was ever issued in the state of New York.
I have to confess I re-read it many times to make sure I understood it correctly, and not just to vicariously enjoy that sweet, sweet taste of orange despair involved every single time. Here, you can enjoy it too:

Yes, read it from another post! As far as I can tell the only Trumps who dodged it are Ivanka and Tiffany.
At this point, who is stupid enough to do business with Trump that would also care if he has a business license?
And why would Trump even pretend to do legitimate business after finding a donation grift that keeps on giving the more trouble he gets in?
