    • Admiral Buenamigo: What you do on the Enterprise is you take the specifications from the the bridge and bring them down to the engineers?
    • Tom Smykowski: Yes, yes that’s right.
    • Admiral Bullock: Well then I just have to ask why can’t the bridge take them directly to the engineering people?
    • Tom Smykowski: Well, I’ll tell you why, because, engineers are not good at dealing with bridge officers.
    • Admiral Buenamigo: So you physically take the specs from the bridge?
    • Tom Smykowski: Well… No. My apprentice does that, or they’re beamed.
    • Admiral Bullock: So then you must physically bring them to the engineering people?
    • Tom Smykowski: Well. No. Ah sometimes…

      Look, the computer didn’t hesitate to create Moriarty (sp?) so it would follow your order and passively turn off safety like a genie causing mischief.
