I guess it’s good in that I don’t want to be blown up for my governments’ crimes, but I think it should be required reading for every American.

It’s not like it’s some forbidden knowledge, either. It’s a poorly constructed argument for why it’s totally cool to indiscriminately murder civilians by a misogynistic religious fanatic. I was no more convinced by his views than I was after reading Mein Kampf.

People should see it so they get a primary perspective on why terrorists hate the United States. The US does a lot of fucked up shit and thinks they’re immune to retaliation. If anyone is curious why these terrorists keep attacking the West, here it is. Whether you disagree or agree with him is kind of irrelevant.

It was interesting to me that in his letter he bought into our propaganda about us being the land of the free and used that as justification for the murder of civilians.

Land of the free, and then he contradicts himself and says our country is run by the elites and the Jews. Which one is it?

Is this not the letter that explained it’s not for our freedoms, but for us marauding, pillaging, raping, torturing, disappearing people, wanton destruction in their lands, selling them back their own resources we took?
