I find the content of this article quite revealing of how much has changed since the Gaza invasion. It refers to Israel as a Zionist colonial project that is committing genocide. Opinions that no Western media would have accepted for fear of being accused of anti-semitism

It’s an opinion piece, it’s not a report. So you’re going to get the opinions of the author here. These are typically somewhat inflammatory to generate traffic for newspapers.

True but they would never have published an opinion piece like this 3 months ago. For example they published an article in 2021 mulling whether any criticism of Israel should be considered anti semitic, which shows how much the dial has moved since the latest horrors in Gaza.
