Why is this article implying that Argentina has anything to do with the deal dropping? Macron is blocking it, period. Argentina’s new President hasn’t even assumed nor weighted on the matter.
I moved to mercosur five years ago. The beatings its taking through Bolsonaro, Lacalle Pou and now Milei is fucking horrendous. Also, Lula is too goddamn keen with his fucking South American shared currency BS, it’s all going to shit.
Mercosur and all that are great ideas, but it’s not being handled right just yet.
