    Okay.

That doesn’t change what Iran is doing in Yemen.

Or do you think pointing out two wrongs makes one of them okay?

You are literally pointing out one wrong (Iran involvement in Yemen) to make another (US military intervention) okay.

You’re also ignoring the greater evil, the one that radicalized Houthis in the first place: the Saudi-led genocide that the US and UK are supporting.

It’s extremely dishonest to call responding to the people literally attacking you as intervening. That is all by all accounts defence.

Militaries are typically tasked with protecting more than themselves. If someone invaded Britain then the military wouldn’t have to wait until the invaders had shot a soldier to start defending the country.

A better question is whether they are attacking US and UK citizens/ equipment.

They were attacking commercial vessels. Military has none of those.

Do you even know what the word “literally” means?

Terrorists attack commercial ships, US responds to protect them, they attack US ship.

                Yes, literally.

Ok, you clearly either don’t or you think commercial and military are distinctions without meaning. Either way, I’m done with your wilfully obtuse ass. Have the year you deserve.

Attacks were directed at US Navy ships responding to distress calls from merchant vessels, of which the 157 signatories to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea have an obligation to provide aid to.

Not to mention SOLAS and UN maritime security obligations.

But hey, random on the Internet who wants to support brutal authoritarianism knows better than the global community dedicated to helping protect people. Go run off and hide now.
