You are certainly correct that Zionism is completely separate from Judaism. Conflation of the two directly leads to a rise a genuine antisemitism. While Israel and Zionists claim so, Israel’s actions in no way represents Jewish people. The conflation only assists antisemites that aim to paint the genocidal and supremacist actions of Israel onto all Jewish people, feeding insane conspiracy theories that incite antisemitic violence.
