Summary

Peri Pamir, a Turkish woman, was convicted twice for sharing a Guardian article about a British woman killed fighting with Kurdish forces in Syria.

We’re probably going to be seeing articles like this coming from the US in a few years. Probably.

Don’t like the government? Terrorist. Share an article? Terrorist. Eating the wrong food? Probably terrorist as well.

    What a shit show.

well, if you’re accused to be a terrorist, you’re supposed to prove that you’re not so, which is impossible. so while being accused of terrorism lost all it’s weight socially, it’s up to the judge. if he’s one of “them” you’re fucked anyway

I’d rather be one of those “terrorists” than a person Erdogan seems to like. Hope he lives there rest of his life with breadcrumbs in his bed and the dread of being slapped with a limp penis on the forehead every time he closes his eyes.

I was in a business trip in Turkey at an international company. During lunch I learned from a well-educated investor relations manager, how much problem the CIA and their terrorist organization Güllen has caused the country, leading to eg. high inflation.

Edit: not sure why the downvotes, this is how many Turkish people think (by their own or due to propaganda). That’s why they have laws like this
