I really dislike notateslaapp site. It started out very promising and is just rage bait and full of ads. The “missing” GPU is likely because the model S has a second display for the back seats. The “cheaper” RAM may be because ECC may not be needed for this application due to simplicity vs the model S. The missing connectors for the cameras is because the car it came from doesn’t have additional cameras.
It’s like they took news about a fit for purpose hardware and nitpicked it to portray that as a bad thing. I see this as a good sign that Tesla has mature processes to not beed to waste money on populating boards with chips that wont be used. I guess a further refinement would be to make the whole board fit for purpose and then there wouldn’t be anything “missing,” but they probably have limited control in that regard.
I do like there software tracker though it’s nice to be able to see the latest version and changes etc.
