I loved Slick Willy while he was in office, he presided over the greatest decade in American life, the 90’s, one of such hope and progress, and relative safety, I’m quite sure we’ll not see the like again while I’m on this earth.
That said, the Lewinsky stuff was embarrassing, and the repeal of Glass-Steagall set up the Subprime mortgage crisis and later the Global Financial crisis which saw the American people have to pay Billions to bail out banks, who weren’t forced to change in any way, while average tax paying American citizens lost their livelihoods, homes, and in some cases their lives.
I’ll always have a soft spot for Bill, I wish him well.
Bill Clinton was not a good president. A lot of the runaway capitalist bullshit we are dealing with now is directly because of the changes he made. Not to mention his name being on Epstein’s list.
