    I have no idea what you’re trying to say as you don’t give an example.

    I can think of 2 examples.

    One is a streaming site I use for sport. If I share with others and talk it up it will get more well known and risks being taken down or having issues due to too many people accessing.

    The other is a place near me that sometimes gave away free food. It became more well known and people pestered them for freebies to the point that they had to stop.

      I got the feeling OP meant legally free stuff that gets buried under ads by for-profit corporations, but that might be my own bias.

        Pretty much, yeah. Buried by marketing and mostly kept that way by it dominating conversations.

        Been occasionally posting creative commons music and some fully free games to try to be the change I want to see.
