    Effectiveness of this suggestion hinges on Rs having shame and/or decency. It’s almost prerequisite to not have such a thing to get voted in.

      Republicans only represent 1/3 of the public. If 2/3rds of the public is laughing at them, that’s more than good enough.

        In the early 20th century the KKK went into sharp decline due to an exposee on their initiation practices, and suddenly the (white) public found them to be a really silly group of frat boys rather than a serious organization to ever consider being recruited to

          Turning your opponent into a joke is one of the best methods of attack, especially in cases where the threat is very serious. War propaganda the world over characterizes a nation’s enemy as some bumbling idiot. Hogan’s Heroes, the TV show, did a great job at portraying the very serious issue of Nazis and made them look like a joke. Democrats are so bad at marketing and going after their opponents though that they’ll never do anything.
