In this way they skirted the law on holding an illegal lottery. As far as I know the $100 for signing the pledge is still being paid.

You have to wonder if those million dollar checks recipients even voted R. Secret ballot and all.
They were selected in advance. Nobody actually had a chance to win the million.
And the winner is Delon Husk!

This is real. They went to two campaign workers who donated the money back to Republicans.
In this way they skirted the law on holding an illegal lottery. As far as I know the $100 for signing the pledge is still being paid.
