Actually once recently I had problems because the wifi driver (b43) for the Dell Latitude D505 (2004) wasn’t in the live Boot environment (cause un-free).

1·1 year agoI hope you mean, always make it possible to unlock the bootloader offline (to not be dependent on them). There are good security reasons to have it locked by default.
Have you heard of nix, can’t happen there
