We need a Lemmy dictionary so someone can finally clarify what people mean when they say “liberal”

This meme, minus the analogy, is what Leo Wong did in Futurama lol
Do you have a Facebook/instagram account where you have marked your GF as your GF or tagged your GF in a lot of photos? More likely than not, Meta pays attention to those connections and shows ads to people it deems close to you based on your browsing history. And remember that Meta tracks user actions beyond what they do on Meta sites.
Over Walt’s cold dead body.
…
uhhhhh… wait, hang on I didn’t mean that
“Microsoft has just announced it’s brand new, innovative music experience: the Zune!”
I’m in no way here to defend Biden, but I literally have heard nothing about concentration camps related to Biden. To what are you referring?
If there isn’t, Pornhub is missing out on a big revenue stream. “Come for the porn, stay because you can’t believe just how insanely wrong this insanely hot person is and you have to explain to them how wrong they are.” Ragebait and porn all-in-one.
Oh, I see your point. I was thinking about how people have a lot of intense arguments in their head in the shower, and if they weren’t afraid to film themselves in the shower, they probably would do so in order to take those thoughts out of their head and put them into the world for discussion.
If they’re self-conscious about their body, as most people are, they probably would still use their cars lol
The shower or the car?
I’m convinced people get on their soapbox in their car because it’s the only place people can film themselves without being self conscious about other people listening to them while they do it.
Is L/carthoughts a thing?
I disagree with your premise there. Using a controller that requires absolute input (a mouse) while your opponents use a controller that requires relative input (a joystick) gives you a leg up but it doesn’t remove skill altogether. Using a mouse still requires skill, but it’s easier to learn to use well.
My bad. I’ve been really tired the last few days lol. Thanks
I’m relatively confident that Microsoft understands its only leg up on Apple is that its ecosystem isn’t a walled garden.
The optimist in me says “maybe this is just to prevent cheaters from using XIM and Cronus and it’ll be cheap and easy for other manufacturers to get authorized”
The pessimist in me says “so Microsoft is going to charge a shitton for authorization… great”
The realist in me says “I play on PC”
The issue with price-hikes for subscriptions to me seems like it was always inevitable, and a no-brainer to solve. Disney, Netflix, and Hulu have no reason to lower their costs as long as people set-and-forget their subscriptions. The obvious solution is to stop subscribing and to buy a single month from a single service when you have a number of shows/movies you want to watch.
Paying $20 once per year to watch all the newest Marvel and Star Wars shows and movies in the span of a month at the cost of avoiding spoilers at release is a solid deal if you ask me. Paying $20 every month because you want to feel like you “own” the library of Disney’s media is a horrible decision.
I believe that every arbitrarily descriptive line can be crossed by dissecting the nature of the things on either side of the line.
Thanks to Bladdivan, I’m peein’ right now 😏
