Before LJD had Sync moved to Lemmy post-API I was using Jerboa and back then it was super buggy and slow because it was a freshly minted app. It’s nice to see how well the FOSS alternatives have been catching up.

I got an amazing old HP office laser jet, a 1320n. Would Linux be able to print from it relatively easily? I had to work pretty hard to get it on W10.
Youth is wasted on the young, and wisdom is wasted on the old.
Hamping, that’s what hampers do, right?
Is the guy in the very first top book wearing a bra?
Can’t wait to listen to the Darknet Diaries interview about this in a few years.
Christmas Shoes.
I think there is a positive correlation between those two points.
That’s why I hate Bruce Springsteen. Can’t read these lyrics without getting a bit nauseated.
Hey little girl, is your daddy home? Did he go and leave you all alone? Mhmm I got a bad desire Oh, oh, oh, I’m on fire
Tell me now, baby, is he good to you? And can he do to you the things that I do? Oh no I can take you higher Oh, oh, oh, I’m on fire
Celebrate Me Home is my favorite. I can listen to it even in the summer
Or I took it as, “and in such a manner”, like in “And in so choosing…”
All it took was for one person to gift me some FotL underwear to decide that I should be buying my own undergarments. So uncomfortable!
Another couple good brands would be Smartwool and Fox River
Somewhat related, the app LockMyPix is a pretty decent media organizer and encrypter for Android, and it allows for multiple distinct vaults to store images and video in. One password for Vault A, another for Vault B, etc
I used to have an android launcher years back that did just that thing, actually. It ran different instances of the home page based on what password you entered. You could access other instances when logged in via a 3-finger side drag, but it was able to be disabled. I don’t recall what it was called anymore but I had to have been using it back when I had a Galaxy S8 or even older.
Laughing is not allowed. God hates people who enjoy life
Amish dudes at my work mock me for the eye protection, hearing protection and N95, but they won’t be laughing in 20 years when they’re suffering with COPD and lung cancer
I guess the problem is that, while technically accurate English, it’s a pretty non-standard usage. One sees a page full of a variety of planes and it’s expected that the following text will make a general statement on planes as an idea: There are so many kinds of planes!
To refer to a group as the book does, it’s just kind of clunky and awkward, and on top of that so many kinds is, in my experience, just an unusual adjective form. Teaching children how to read isn’t just about learning how to sound out words: it’s also about how to suss out their meaning, and a child at this reading level may have a hard time understanding the more abstract grammatical form that this book decided to take.
Endeavour has been an amazing distro for me, noob Linuxer. I started on Ubuntu Cinnamon, then tried Mint, and ended here on Endeavour and I love it.
