I haven’t checked since covid, but Philadelphia usually has at least a handful for under 100k and a load under 200k.
Granted they aren’t in great sections of the city and nearly all are row homes with existing issues.
One of them Carpenter nerd types.

Ruffle has gotten to the point that I can share the joy of this beauty again. I regret nothing.
While not exactly what you’re looking for, I thought the idea might inspire you somewhat.
I present to you Simone Giertz retractable puzzle table.
Edit: as to what to look out for… As long as you’re specific about wants and needs for the table, there shouldn’t be any issues. Shopping around for materials both wood and otherwise are going to be something you’ll want to source yourself. Provide some decent plans and be abundantly clear on the usage and intention of the table.
And if you’re going to have the dining top be a monolithic slab of material, make sure one person can reasonably lift it. Don’t go grabbing some dense hardwood and making that thing a beast to remove.
Such intelligent design.
Same God that ‘decided’ a year shouldn’t land on a whole day. Threw in that .25 for shits and giggles.
The important part is that there’s not a small section of the population which will take all speculation and no science for easily disprovable things to heart rather than challenge their world view. It’s oddly fitting that the flat earth is so dumb to them, but many other similarly false takes will sway them wholly.
It’s a pretty simple stance to take, you know the “don’t go around killing/maiming/terrorizing/raping random civilians” stance. It shouldn’t be hard to say “treat people with respect”. No matter if they are friend, enemy, or bystander.
Uhh… Soy… Soy sauce.
I remember a video many years ago about the first brick laying bot. It was rough and no where near as finely tuned as a Mason who has been doing it for a few years… But it works. The absolute short sighted nature of many construction companies much like in the past will be their downfall.
Which is a shame. I prefer alternate rules which change the plus cards rules to allow plays such as more +2’s added on top, color appropriate skips and reverses, wild cards and +4’s.
Wild cards simply pass the draw to the next player. Basically every face card can be used to counter draw cards, though usually by adding more danger. It just adds a level of skill and planning over a game where getting randomed by a +2 or +4 is just a loss.
Audio is still somewhat of a culprit at times, depends on the game and the amount of exposition. Videos are rarely the main share of the game filesize anymore and usually it is mainly textures and likely bloat from really crap usage/optimization of those textures.
There are currently three types of isekai:
Writing crutch to explain why the MC is special.
Tangential isekai. These are the time skip, reincarnated, or other ‘from this world but not’ types
Writing crutch to explain a world with ‘game-like’ qualities.
Nearly all Isekai currently out do not need to be isekai, it’s just being overused to quickly explain why/how the world and MC are so different from baseline reality. Usually the real point is to connect the character to a more understandable and relatable base.
I’ve been reading way too many light novels lately, and many of them are labeled isekai, but it’s completely inconsequential outside of a very minor plot point.
A half used carpenters pencil is what mine finds itself being used for most often. New ones stab my side and if they’re too short they just get lost in there.
It’s fun. Similar to a joke, it doesn’t need to be fully factual to get a laugh. I’d also like to think that if our generation lives to be grans, it’s going to become quite realistic.
As long as I have Santiago, all is well.
Roaches are one thing. The large centipedes are something else entirely.
As someone who has lived in 4 (forgot Rhode Island) 5 different states, and two very different areas of California, the worst by my metrics was Hawaii.
Yes, it has lovely weather, yes, it is a great place to visit… That does not make it a lovely place to live. Once you’ve done all the touristy things, you have to deal with the day to day. Prices are just higher for everything. It all has to come from somewhere, and it’s in the middle of the ocean.
You shouldn’t, and neither should anyone else. Most people who care are either looking at this list and saying to themselves or elsewhere “this is biased bullshit” of some type of “this validates things I already believe”, and those aren’t mutually exclusive.
Judging a place to live by a limited set of statistics is fairly useless.
Man, they sure are expecting a lot from unpaid moderators to their millions+ subbed reddits. Sure would be a shame if they decided their free time for moderation was only an hour a day.
I have absolutely no idea how to answer that question in any meaningful way.
