Paramount ends DEI policies, cites Trump executive order
Paramount Global is ending several diversity, equity and inclusion policies related to data collection and staffing.
The company cited President Donald Trump’s executive order banning DEI in the government and directing agencies to probe private companies over their programs.
Fellow media giant Comcast is under investigation by the federal government for its DEI policies.
It’s like Cyberpunk but, instead of the world being taken over by evil corporations it’s run by a bunch of hippies lol
It’s also a real life movement that’s basically wants the above to happen.
Real question.
What exactly was the Pentagon doing to celebrate these holidays? Like did someone being in cupcakes, where there decorations, a moment of silence? Didn’t they get the day off and don’t they still get the day off anyways?
Three days tops.
When was GN proven wrong and did they at least admit they where wrong? Everybody gets things wrong, it’s how often you’re wrong and how you handle being wrong that matters.
Not being held legally liable ≠ Nothing happened
Afaik the report that was done was not made public. If one side paid for the investigation and controls all the info in said investigation then it can’t be used as proof of innocence.
The firm also has its own reputation to consider, and wouldn’t let a client get away with materially misrepresenting their results.
Meaning what? What would the company doing the investigation do is if the claims that someone said:
I was asked about my sexual history, my boyfriends sexual history, “how I liked to fuck”.
I was asked to twerk for a co-worker at one point.
I was told I was chunky, fat, ugly, stupid. I was called “retarded” I was called a "removed
Where true? How would one even prove that actually happened to them? The Investigation Company surely signed an NDA and had no legal ability to release any info found in says investigation right? If they started releasing info that accusations where in fact true they would lose all their business immediately right?

Here’s a quick roundup of some, but not all of the issues people have with LTT.
A former LTT employee made claims of sexual harassment and poor working environment. LTT paid a third party to investigate those claims and unsurprisingly didn’t find evidence that supported those claims. A lot of LTT stans use this as “evidence” that the accuser was lying. Assuming that is clearly false logic, investigating yourself isn’t proof of innocence.
Stuff like this is what’s driving me to drop everything Google. I honestly didn’t “really” care if they collected my data and directed ads to me. But they can seriously fuck off with asking if I want to turn on this Google thing or pay for that Google thing every other day. The amount of time I’m spending hitting “no” on all these prompts is starting to outweigh the amount of time it’ll take to figure out and install GrapheneOS or LineageOS.
No, the initial comment is just confusing. Why is Jay-Z being mentioned in the first place? He’s not mentioned in the article that was posted and he wasn’t present at the event the article was written about, so what relevance does Jay-Z play in this?
I’m confused, Snoop or Jay-Z where? The comment says Jay-Z but the article is about Snoop, are they really close? Did Jay-Z also play at this event?
What does one have to do with the other?
Isn’t that the point though? Why would anyone rather be the CEO of a company over just retiring and surfing or traveling or writing poetry etc… Being a CEO is a type of mental illness at some point.
Something tells me we’re going to be seeing this headline a lot this year.
Afaik the USA does not release official statistics for this because individual police precincts refuse to cooperate.
