Wasn’t that part of the point?
Yeah, if I hadn’t been so committed to Rexit, I doubt I would have stuck around long enough to find a UX that I liked. Just to name one, it’d be nice if MLMYM were a default skin.
Not sure why anyone is surprised…they’re all bootlicking corporations that don’t want the mob boss to fuck with their mergers and/or investigate them for their various crimes.
She is very concerned.
I can’t wait for every vehicle to introduce this, thus leading to a perverse incentive whereby drivers go out of their way to avoid stopping as much as possible. How could it go wrong?
The most pissing thing is that the Microsoft “support” forum is always the top search result. Sometimes it occupies 5 or more of the top search results.
…but I haven’t had to deal with that since I switched to Linux last year, so…yay!
Yeah, every time I think about getting Doordash, they sucker me in with promises of $1 delivery fees, etc. Then I take the time to find out what I want, put it in my cart, get excited, and…then I see the final price.
That’s when I close out of my browser and go preheat my oven so that I can put in a frozen pizza.
You mean to tell me that I DON’T need an AI-powered faucet?
“Make America Great Leap Forward Again”
AMA request: Someone who genuinely believes that Trump’s cabinet will be anti-Wall Street.
How many Scaramuccis was that?
“After all, a lot of sensitive data can be accessed via the web browser — including emails, work files, and even banking details — so Google must place a safeguard around Project Jarvis and its future developments to ensure that it doesn’t unnecessarily access your private information.”
Narrator: They did NOT place any safeguards around the project.
Yes, this exactly! I still cannot fathom how Discord took off. It offers literally no advantages over forums, and introduces some massive disadvantages.
You know how the GOP is impeaching Biden as a tit-for-tat for Trump? I can imagine, say, the Wisconsin state legislature trying to remove Biden from the ballot. They’ll argue something stupid like “Biden committed insurrection by not supporting fetal rights.” Then it’ll be up to SCOTUS, of Bush v. Gore fame. They could easily say something like, “Trump hasn’t been convicted of insurrection, so Trump must go on the ballot in Colorado. However, since Joe Biden is ignoring Dobbs, Biden is ineligible for the ballot in Wisconsin.” Call me paranoid, but I’m not very optimistic about how this will play out.
And this is precisely why you don’t store your files in the cloud.
Bonus points: The service has the entire run of a show, but then they remove the whole series when you’re only 3 episodes away from the end.
The real lesson here is that clear, unambiguous communication is key.
So they’ll help to elect Trump, who’s even more pro-Israel? Great idea! /s
It’s worrying that this isn’t as high on Lemmy (or Reddit) as it should be. We all knew this was going to happen, but still, isn’t this more important than articles about Trump’s humiliation?
I mean, I get it, there’s some serious schadenfreude there, but as with last time around, Trump’s clown antics are distracting from the serious damage that’s going on directly behind him.
