I’d watch the wheels off of “Kangatoadwars!”
Just your average urban druid interested in technology and quantum field theory.
I’d watch the wheels off of “Kangatoadwars!”

Who put the “D” in there?

“Please keep your hands inside the ride at all times.”
If the universe is infinite, and time is never ending, this is indeed FACT!
Listening. Not “paying attention” but actually listening.
Speculation but: Children.
If you have something that looks like a pool they’ll go swimming.
The ladder gets them out and the humps give them a place to stand in the middle to keep their heads above the water line. Their arms get tired very quickly.
I have no dog in this race.
That being said, I guess it’s that it belongs to Google, is therefore propriety, and they have a less than stellar record with honoring privacy and/or keeping projects going.
Add on that telecoms didn’t want RCS to have encryption, which is why the default standard doesn’t have it, and you have a clusterfuck of privacy concerns, longevity concerns, and licensing concerns.
Then there’s the abuse factor: https://www.theverge.com/2022/6/1/23150243/google-rcs-ads-india-spam-verified-business

So any RCS w/ Encryption that you see is referring to Google’s implementation that only runs on Google servers.
I hate to say it, but within minutes of hearing about the attack by Hamas against Israel, the unexpectedness of it, and the scale of it, I asked myself, “Who’s funding this,” and, “Who gains by this?” And my brain replied, “Putin.”
Sure enough within days his puppets in our government (the USofA GOP) start talking about reducing/stopping aid to Ukraine.
You are the hero we need! ❤️
Her date sure wasn’t! 😉
Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Nope! The futuristic aspect was that they didn’t jam.
“No more cassette players eating my $8 album!? I LOVE LIVING IN THE FUTURE!”
Thanks for posting this! As a former cat host this is painfully funny.
I’ve been on Simple Choice for many, many years now. I get up to 14 lines @ $50/line, each one has unlimited data & talk, plus 50 GB/month tethering. (There are other options included but I don’t use them.
Apparently, last time I looked, Magenta is more expensive, had no extra lines, and tethering is an added cost. Plus those extra features are mostly an added cost as well.
I really hope that we can indeed “opt out” of being forcibly moved to a different plan!
Wow, you signed up yesterday and determined, “an algorithm that entices you into a parasocial relationship with the synthetic community” all on your own?
It’s not any of that…
But If what it truly is, isn’t for you, that’s fine too.
