To be honest: After visiting both the US and China I was way more concerned after my US visit that my phone may have been compromised.

Using a VPN was no problem for me in China, but it has been a few years since I’ve been there.

But there are of course other guides and as they’re subjective ratings you might want to give episodes a chance even if others didn’t like them.

My main advice is: Don’t be afraid to skip an episode if you watch it and you don’t like it. Especially the early seasons of TNG, DS9 and Voyager have some episodes which can easily be skipped. You won’t lose any context.

As long as your phone doesn’t come with an airplane as its charger I don’t think that is covered by this. But airplanes are refitted on a regular basis, so maybe they will change all the ports within the next decade…

I understand what you mean, but they couldn’t resist the “end of the universe as we know it” trope. That was totally unnecessary in my opinion.

I will not buy a phone without wireless charging anymore. It is just too convenient and with proper OS support it can be configured to not drain your battery life too much.

Also I miss the smaller screen sizes. My HTC Legend was such a nice thing to hold in your hand with unique features. Smaller phones today usually lack a lot of features so they often aren’t an option.

I already wrote it in the other thread: I loved DS9 Harbinger. I remember the feeling that I could roam around on the promenade freely and explore the station (not sure if the game really was able to deliver that). It had pretty decent graphics for it’s time. I wonder if there are others who also loved this game,

I played a lot of Armada (1 & 2) and loved Elite Force (1 & 2). I tried Command and Final Unity but I didn’t understand English enough at the time to know what to do. My favourite game was DS9 Harbinger though because DS9 was also my favourite show.

But even the fastest airliners at the moment (A330 neo) moves slower than 300m/s. Wikipedia claims that COCOM limits are even higher so I don’t think that they are the reason for the inaccurate tracking on planes.

I think the reasoning is that if you train AIs with AI generated data you can end up in a situation where the development halts and no improvement happens anymore.

I recently called a support hotline (after reading the FAQ) and they had a complex Dial-X-If-You-Have-This-Problem structure which on every end just had a person reading the FAQ entries. There was no way to reach an actual person…

I liked how the remnants of the explosion formed the pattern of a Kolvoord Starburst maneuver.

Keep is a horrible shopping list app with barely any features qualifying it. There are no categories for groceries that automatically sort your list, no additional notes per item (quantity, etc.) and the usage in the store is just not great as it relies on you reading small text on your phone. Other apps have had far better solutions to this but aren’t allowed to be used with Google’s assistant anymore…

I still have Google Listen on my first Android phone. Maybe I can go back…

I also don’t want to compile my C++ code myself. I’m pretty happy with letting a compiler do it’s job…
