Depending on where you are though there are Anti-BDS laws in some places that might give you trouble on that front I’m not sure though. Because we know that any and all criticism of or calling for consequences for Israel is anti-Semitic and Bad™

I mean it would stop this particular madness… In a Monkey’s Paw kind of way where we now instead have to deal with the madness of Trump trying to become a dictator and all the harm that entails.
I believe they’re referring to the upcoming Manifest V3 changes. My understanding is that currently uBlock uses the old Manifest V2 that they’re ending support for once V3 gets pushed. I believe there is a V3 version of uBlock but because of the limitations in V3 it’s not as effective at blocking ads.
One time I was dealing with a really bad migraine while I was running register at Walmart. I was barely functioning and could barely stand up straight. This lady comes through my line starting out all compassionate until she suggests that she lead me in a prayer that Jesus might heal me. I try to politely decline because I’d rather not hold up the line forming behind her. Well, also because I’m atheist but I had been in customer service for years at that point and knew better than to bring that tidbit up.
This lady starts into the most hate fueled tirade I’ve ever heard. Talking about how I’m a heathen, my migraine was a punishment directly from God, I deserve every second of my suffering, and calling me everything but a child of God. All because I tried to politely decline a performative prayer from her because there were now 3 people in line behind her. Like 20 minutes later I got taken out in an ambulance because I fainted from the pain trying to stand up after using the bathroom on my break.
Another guy tried to get me to discount his entire order because he supposedly knew the guy that owned the contacting company that built the store. Try to tell him that I don’t have the ability to do that and he’d have to talk to a manager. He gets right up in my face and starts yelling about how no one else ever had a problem with it and how with one phone call he could make it so I would never be able to work at Walmart again. Along with several threats to my person. If I never set foot behind a cash register again it’ll be too soon.
I’ve got some furry friends and there’s a whole spectrum. You can run into everything from the mostly human with some animal features like the kemonomimi trope to full anthropomorphic animals. Depends on the person really.
Yeah that’s pretty much it. You had multiple virtual desktops that let you have different sets of windows up on each and when you switched between them it played this cool animation of them laid out in a cube that you rotated to the next face. Then the wobbly windows is exactly what it sounds like. They’d jiggle when you dragged them around or when you maximized them.
Ran like crap on my old laptop I used for school but my god it was necessary to have. Still brings a goofy smile to my face whenever I’m moving windows around today since it’s a thing you can still do in Linux desktop environments. Had I not had my Comp Sci degree pursuits disrupted by chronic illness I’d likely have had a similar experience to OP.
I think they mean that if it were actually true and Republicans could prove it the Clintons would be dead? Not sure it’s a little hard to parse.
There’s a scene where the titular Hancock threatens a couple of guys by saying he’s going to shove the one guy’s head up the other guy’s ass. They continued to fuck around and subsequently found out.
Agreed fellow allosexual, Sex IS indeed OP.
… What’s that? They said OPSEC? The fuck is an OPSEC? Some new part of the queer alphabet soup that I haven’t heard of?
Sorry, that little skit played out in my head after reading your reply. It’s a weird thing when your intrusive thoughts turn to shitposting. I feel like that person on a leash meme where the thing I’m trying to control is a coked up shitpost tulpa.
What about asexuals?
Nothing at all. We don’t exist. Even if we did exist we certainly wouldn’t be plotting to invade Denmark. Shh…
Not Getting Pounded in the Butt by the Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Even After I Attempted a Coup to Get Him to Notice Me.
Truly, this is one of the ways of all time for one to Prove Love. His trot is truly unlike any other.
It’s closer to hair color for cats. Race would be more like the breed of the cat.
Yes, he stopped the train strike. He then worked with the rail unions for weeks negotiating with the bosses and now the rail workers have the sick days that was one of the big drivers of them going on strike for. Here’s the statement straight from the IBEW.
They literally thank Biden’s administration directly for applying pressure in the weeks after blocking the strike that eventually led to the union getting what it was asking for. I’m no big fan of Biden’s, but trying to paint him as anti labor especially using him blocking the rail strike is just patently untrue. With everything that’s been happening around Biden’s NLRB under Lina Khan he is easily the most pro worker president we’ve had in decades.
Not even detonated. They just get strapped to a table and their skull slowly crushed by the body of the nuke.
I don’t necessarily agree in this case that it’s specifically calculated to do this but the idea is that it’s not taking away an option from another group it’s just only opening up a new option to a certain subset of a group.
Hypothetically, if two groups have 100 voters each right now they’re split 50-50 right? Now this rule comes out and it means that for group A, 50 new people who had previously gone unregistered are now suddenly registered automatically but for group B only 25 new people are registered automatically, then now suddenly A has 150 registered voters but B has only 125. A suddenly has an advantage they didn’t have before because their group benefited disproportionately from adding that method of registering.
I mean that’s been their goal for decades. You see it plainly in their attempts on the Post Office and Social Security. They want to privatize everything. Strip the government for parts and sell it all to private corporations. No Department of Energy? Guess we’ll have to just let the power companies manage our grid with no oversight. No Department of Education? Guess your only options for education are for profit private schools if you can afford to attend them. No IRS to collect those pesky and complicated income taxes? Guess we’ll have to switch to collecting everything via sales tax. Oh what’s that? Not enough money? Good thing we have this Social Security trust fund that’s just been sitting here not being used for Wall St speculationcollecting dust.
No like, the IBEW workers actually have the sick days now. It’s like the first thing they say in the article I linked.
Quote again:
After months of negotiations, the IBEW’s Railroad members at four of the largest U.S. freight carriers finally have what they’ve long sought but that many working people take for granted: paid sick days.
Then they thank the Biden administration specifically for helping them provide the pressure on the rail companies that helped them get the sick days. So yeah, breaking the strike was shitty but he at least didn’t leave them out to dry and helped them get what they wanted.
The point about the NLRB changes being administration dependent is true. Which is a big part of what moved myself specifically from “Ugh… I guess I’ll hold my nose and vote for Biden because I don’t want the fascists to win,” to actually feeling like I had a reason to vote for him.
Don’t get me wrong, fuck the DNC for deciding that there’s essentially not going to be a primary. We deserve the chance to pick someone better than Biden if we can find them. But if we can get 4 more years of the kinds of labor and union gains we’ve been seeing I think that’s worth voting for.
He did shut down the strike yes, but was recently credited by the unions for helping them in the months since to apply pressure to finally get them the sick days they were after.
Quote from the article:
"We’re thankful that the Biden administration played the long game on sick days and stuck with us for months after Congress imposed our updated national agreement,” Russo said. “Without making a big show of it, Joe Biden and members of his administration in the Transportation and Labor departments have been working continuously to get guaranteed paid sick days for all railroad workers.
That’s not even mentioning all the good things happening at his NLRB under Lina Khan. My favorite of which being the new rule that straight up just orders companies found to have engaged in union busting tactics in response to workers trying to get a union election to immediately recognize and begin bargaining with said union.
I was specifically trying to get all the achievements in it in 1 run because I had borrowed it for just a weekend from a buddy of mine at my college. I got to the final boss and just unloaded everything. Fight ended in like 30 seconds.
I told him to check my achievements when I gave it back to him. I get a random Xbox live voice message of him just screaming “WHAT AAAAARE YOU!?” 10/10 would torture myself again.
Definitely doesn’t help that most of the damn US has some form of Anti-BDS laws. Because everybody knows Anti-Zionism is Anti-Semitism right guys?
