  • I guess you went to the wrong shop then. In pharmacies or shops open at crazy hours this might be true. We usually buy all products for Hygiene and beauty in shops we call “Drogerie”. The most common two chains are Rossmann and DM. There you get sun screen for 3-15€ from various Brands.

  • This and nowadays (at least here in Europe) you find lots of sun screen without titanium dioxide. They all have a label with corals on it (they call it in hawaian agreement?). So its very easy to avoid nanoparticles AND protect skin. Also, its not like a few years ago that you look like a vampire when using sun screen without nanoparticles.

  • In my experience all the good arguments in governments that change, big companies making money etc are still too abstract to people.

But i have found one argument that at least made women and older men with daughters think about it. Stalking. With reverse image search and stupid people finder apps and ai that can estimate how you look now based on an old picture and vice versa, stalking got soooo easy. Anyone can just secretely take a picture of a girl they find interesting in public and find her social media profile and see where she usually hangs out etc. (Of course also all other genders get stalked - this is just the most known example).

  • Another German here. I love France. And arte is the best TV Programm. :) just that you don’t feel alone.

My theory: Many germans just had really Bad French teachers and honestly its not very easy to learn the spelling, so since their youth they are a bit mad at France. I personally know 3 people that had to redo a year because of bad french grades. Nothing More behind it usually. I noticed its the same with French people that had to learn German. Some love Germany now , the rest projecs their dislike of learning the language on the whole country. However, at least in my bubble, people that like France are in majority. Even those that don’t speak french love to visit.

  • I know what you speak of. I am of course unhappy or disappointed or frustrated ih certain situation, but really rarely angry. In those rare situations its usually not longer than 5 to 10 min. In situations my friends are angry I am more often sad. Only once in my life (let’s say after 5yo) I shouted at someone - to defend a good friend who was treated incredibly unjust. That’s 17 years ago…

I never hated anyone. I think I could hate some politicians but I know them not personally so I cannot have that much emotion for them. For people I know I always have explanations for their behavior keeping me from being angry about them. Still wanting excusions so I am not excusing them for their actions but knowing (or thinking I know) why they behave like they do I cannot be angry. I think its too much emapthy in my case?
