Oh that makes sense then, interesting

Damn, never digged into that I thought blocking the DNS port would be enough, thanks for the information.
I don’t understand the hype over zsh, tbh
Wouldn’t it be : instead?
Do DoH requests go though 443?
Good luck with that
I’ve learned to like systemd over time, but not snaps and how Canonical handles things.
Debian also uses systemd nowadays, maybe you can try devuan (I think that’s how it’s called,) which is debian based but without systemd. I only tried it once on a server but came back to debian.
Ubuntu. It has become so shitty over time, it’s oretty sad.
Shit, I’m on the phone over the holidays, will keep an eye on this. Thanks!
Repeatibility (is that a word?) and scriptability. I find CLI tools easier to work with and easier to get information from them.
I agree.
What could be possible, would be maybe send tiny bits. For example, a device could categorize some places or times, detect out of pattern behaviours and just record a couple of seconds here and there, then send it to the server when requesting something else to avoid being suspicious. Or just pretend it’s a “false positive” or whatever and say “sorry, I didn’t get that.”
I don’t think they’re listening to everything, but they could technically get something if they wanted to target you.
Shit that’s awful, so they could theorically change the lisence to whatever they want at any time
Can somebody explain in a few words what’s CLA? Does it limit contributors rights?
And the fucking MIT License
I’ve seen this, wtf does this people have on their heads!?
You can even use echo
, which is way faster
echo linux.iso > /dev/disk/by-id/usb-My_flash_drive
/s
I mean… I only glanced over their landing page, and aside from the religious shit (and ubuntu heritage,) it doesn’t look that bad, or I’m missing something? They have preconfigured blocker and screen time monitor, which may be nice for some people.
It probably doesn’t have support for plug and play, tho…
IKR? But I mean the guy was outside watching them, forget the blue hair
