I literally salivate at the thought of it happening to the telecom industries.

My comment is more in line with the corruption aspect. As much as I think they deserve it, giving it to the employees would be more akin to them winning the lottery. In the space of a year, they will have gone public, shareholders would have stormed in and we would be at square one.
Nationalisation at least has a chance of getting rid of the money corruption aspect. Sadly, the three letter agencies are probably deep in every browser already so I don’t think any solution takes care of that.
I understand your point though. Personally, I will never use chrome no matter what happens, ha.
Nationalize?
I’m very critical of American imperialism but I fail to see how the US is using Ukraine to hurt Russia.
The fault always lies with the invader, Russia did this to itself. If I see someone getting stabbed and throw him a knife, implying I’m using him to hurt the other person attacking him is silly. Russia can leave anytime.
I do agree tankie is thrown around far too much, I’ve been called one myself just for talking shit of the military, even though I never mentioned an other country or a political idealogie.
The spread of the word as well as the constant villainization of China seems like prep for red scare 2.0, so we can have the population support bombing villages full of civilians (again).
I’m not sure what extra features sync offers but most apps don’t have ads? I’m using Jerboa personally. It was a bit unstable a year ago but it’s fine now. Images don’t load sometimes, but I’m not sure if that is the apps fault.
Definitely not but there are already free models available from other companies.
There’s is stable video diffusion which is image to video. There is also anim diff, which is built of stable diffusion 1.5 and lets you do quite a lot. Both need a quality graphics card but you can run them using a service like runpod for a dollar an hour or so. Runpod lets you rent GPUs, so it’s not like those scammy AI sites. All of this takes a bit of know how though, it isn’t as easy as using a paid service like pika.

What a condescending view point while bringing nothing to the table but insults.
I see a technology that will break the barriers necessary to get into animation and movie production, finally paving way for indie companies in the domain. It will elevate art in all domains, bringing us more interesting products and features.
My view of it is that if it doesn’t go fast, we end up in a boiled frog situation where every year a few more jobs are lost but not enough for people to protest and the rich end up owning all of us like slaves after a couple of decades.
If in the space of a few years we lose virtually all jobs, it will be hard to argue against the obvious solutions like rapid nationalization of assets and fully automated communism.
It’s cynicism about the clear hypocrisy of the situation.
It’s the equivalent of your bully telling you to keep your lunch money safe while pointing at an other bully. It’s a bit hard not to roll your eyes.
Bro, you had near misses because you were using your phone while driving. Don’t do that.
If you have to type in a destination, pull over or wait for a light
AI hate gets people emotional and leads to more clicks. Couple that with anything to do with China and you end up with a couple bucks of ad money.
Isn’t this the kind of shit that everybody gets mad at China for doing? Seems a bit hypocritical.

Consensual means related to consensus. It sounds funny because of the sensual bit but is completely valid.
I don’t think alcohol is worse than heroin by any means, although the harm that alcohol does is definitely underestimated.
I’d also like to say that I don’t necessarily think the use should be criminalized. Putting addicts in jail solves nothing and the justice system should be concentrating on the ones that sell it. Making it legal will just make more addicts, and won’t help the ones that currently are.
It’s also harder to stop abusing something if it’s sold in every city legally. Dealers go to jail and their numbers can be deleted.
Decriminalization but making the sale highly illegal while offering free rehab to the ones that need it is the way forward imo.
It has a great quality to it’s photos but it seems to be the less controllable out of all them. There’s also a filter.
Stable diff is free, open source, highly controllable and has video now. No contest in my opinion.
I’ve had friends that were cocaine addicts and some that really hit the bottom. This seems insane to me, this isn’t a fun and easy drug like weed imo. I’ve always lumped coke with meth and heroin.
Yeah that’s a good point
