See that’s the difference though. A genocide isn’t a complete disregard for civilian life. Genocide pretty specifically regards civilian life because the civilians themselves are the targets. Callous indifference isn’t the same a genocide. You can say I’m being pedantic, but words matter. When there is a deliberate targeting of Palestinian civilians. Not just attacks done with little care for civilian casualties, but attacks where the civilian casualties are the entire point. We aren’t there yet, despite what armchair philosophers will say on this site. Israel is being reckless, callous, and is certainly commiting war crimes, but unless the Palestinians are being intentionally targeted for the sheer goal of killing as many Palestinians as possible, it doesnt fall into the definition of a genocide.
It’s more a pretty solid prediction that you’re not going to actually boycott them because you are ignorant to the interconnectivity of modern mega corporations. Unless you are fully prepared to live off the grid, the idea of a boycott isn’t just unfeasible, it fully reveals your own immaturity for thinking that it could be.

Only if it’s done right. If it’s done as merely a cash grab, most people can tell pretty quick. The new Super Mario Bros., or anything by Disney in the last 4 years are great examples. If you take out nostalgia, they’re pretty poor to mediocre movies. And I think most people are able to notice that.
Not to mention due to ecosystem collapse, most wild game you hunt these days is now full of chemicals, parasites, and plastic.
I’ve had the opposite experience. I often find that studio cash grabs that rely on nostalgia or low-effort pandering get high critic reviews (which makes me feel like they were paid to do so) and only the user ratings rightfully trash it. Movie reviews seem to be getting a lot more like video games reviews, where a AAA studio shits out a piece of crap, but it’s proclaimed a 8-9 out of 10 by big review companies (looking right at you IGN). Only by listening to the fans or less mainstream reviewers do you get the real picture.

Let me paint another scenario for you that people seem to be ignoring:
Trump gets absolutely fucked in court. So fucked that he is no longer the Republican candidate. The GOP base will scramble to circle the wagons around someone else, probably Haley or Ramaswamy.
Suddenly, it’s not Biden vs Trump. It’s Biden vs someone who’s not nearly as polarizing and isn’t a geriatric. Biden voters will be the first to tell you that they voted against Trump and don’t have any love for Biden. In fact, a lot of them would prefer anyone else, with the exception of Trump.
I believe Biden can win against Trump, because people fucking hate Trump. I think he loses against nearly anyone else, with the possible exception of De Santis. There is very little love for Biden, and none of the other GOP candidates have nearly the amount of hate from people that Trump does.
Sounds like his points are making you uncomfortable. It also sounds like you’d rather just eject from the conversation and pretend it never happened than accept that the world is a big, messy, complicated place and your hot takes are actually cold shit.
