I had no idea, I don’t really think of my family as having dark hair - but our hair is brown. Why are blonde hair follicles unaffected by laser treatment?

Edit: it seems like it’s less to do with them being unaffected and more to do with how the targeting system for the lasers work? That seems like something that could be improved one day.

  • If you’re interested in dealing with them once and for all, there are treatments (I think they use lasers) that will kill the hair follicles and prevent them from growing hair anymore.

My mom had it done on her legs and she hasn’t had to shave since, not sure how expensive it is but it might be worth looking.

  • The only thing I hoped for in that match was for Tyson to smack the living shit out of Jake. That would have been the best outcome. That being said it was never going to end as anything other than Jake running around the ring.

Every single one of these “old vs young” fights is only meant to drive conversation about boxing. It’s a marketing ploy, not only that it’s working. Incredibly well. To say that Jake Paul is the face of boxing is not an understatement. It is a sad indication of where the sport has fallen.

That being said, they still fucking hit each other. Call it a hard sparring match, whatever. Barrios vs Ramos was solid.

  • Yes, but Jobs had a very rare type of cancer, neuroendocrine. One that was, apparently, much easier to treat because it grows very slowly. He was diagnosed, could have gotten a surgery and dealt with what the doctors called a “shadow” on his pancreas. He decided, instead, that he would opt for more holistic treatments. 9 months later, he opts for modern treatments. At this point it was too late.

Pancreatic cancer survival rate is so low because it’s usually caught when things are too late, as there are usually no symptoms when it’s treatable. Job’s not only had the easier version of pancreatic cancer to deal with, he also caught it at the literal perfect time. The only reason he died was because he decided that he knew better.
