Thanks for a level headed comment and that link. I’ll read it more in depth later. I’m all for unions, I wish my particular sector of industry had more unions because we get fucked pretty hard. I’d be interested in joining if there was one for what I did. Convincing others might be difficult though because many don’t see our treatment as poor for some reason. (Contast overtime, on-call, and burnout levels of work are standard practice)

I don’t think you could even get lip service to one let alone active participation. There are too many hurdles and logistic issues and not enough discomfort across all people to spur us over them on that all 50 states level.
Dude. Any one of the European countries doing this is as small as one of our states. Even the largest ones aren’t the same size and scale as our largest ones. Then each state is diverse to a suprising level and has individual groups, laws and viewpoints that affect them all differently. And that’s all ignoring the politics of everything. And ignoring that Americans have zero safety nets for when they are out of work for something like a strike. Most don’t have enough food or money saved to survive a strike. You are very obviously ignorant of life here, whether you live here or not. A nationwide general strike is impossible here. When I see a coordinated strike across all of europe, you might have a point. And if a general strike is decided here I will be among the first to sign up. But until then you are too ignorant of the states and their people to make any assertion as to what is possible here.

That sucks when you are stuck in an area like that. I’ve had t-mo for about 15 years now and they’ve been great and have solid coverage everywhere I’ve been in and outside the state. Verizon really is a better option for more rural locations though generally. I had them for a little while when T-Mo didn’t have great coverage where I was. And I really dislike ATT so they were a hard pass lol
BT delay is such a pain in games. And honestly for me not needing fucking batteries for every damn device in my life is a highly preferred feature. Fucking hate that every device has a separate time limit that I have to keep track of.
It’s compatible with most of T-Mobile bands.
There are things missing from this that I want but the better sourcing and the dedication to a responsible platform makes me want to get one. I’m in the states though so I have to get a reshipper in order to get one which really sucks because it’s going to jack up the price anywhere from 40-100 euros.

I did, for many years. But I live in a grossly red state so all the replies I got were basically “lol no”. It made zero difference. So I just vote in my local elections and hope something changes for the better.

If I email, it’s because I have time for that not your stupid rambling stories, I want a paper trail, and I don’t want to deal with people in conversation. I blatantly do not answer calls at work when I am emailing someone and if they ask if they can call, I tell them no and to please use email.
I can understand them calling in your case. I wouldn’t like it, but sometimes it’s just faster to talk things out. So long as you don’t get a rambler.
Sometimes people just want to talk about what they are going through. There’s nothing wrong with that. If they want help solving it, they will ask.
