I hate when politicians waste time and money on policies that don’t benefit their constituents. Instead they are investing their time and legislative effort in helping what is most likely a push by the meat industry lobbyists to block lab grown meats.

Ah yes. This is where tax dollars should be going. There is NOTHING pressing going on in Florida that would out rank lab grown meat in level of importance.

One things missing with most of the those: profits. I’d be more worried about bad actors stealing the DNA data and using it for all those. The businesses will keep within regulations to keep the profits rolling in without getting shutdown.

The guys was committed for two weeks and had threatened to shoot up a national guard base. They had the information to act on and take away his guns and they didn’t because they didn’t need to. This is even more fucked because it was probably avoidable.

Thats all fine and dandy but the conflict keeps both Israeli and Palestinian leadership in power. Bibi is the iron fisted wartime leader who reignites conflict whenever his support is slipping. Hamas is barely worse than he is. The PLO leadership is much the same. There won’t be any peace until the ones negotiating care more about peace than power.
