Well, in my setup I use both, Cloudflare point to my proxy manager, so there is a dual proxy in a way. but the users always hit cloudflare first and never my own proxy, so I can use CF security feature as well (blocking other country, ip, known bad actors etc)
I would recommend you setup a Reverse Proxy, such as NGINX Proxy Manager, Cloudflare free tier only allow to forward 80 and 443 port. A reverse proxy would listen on port 443 and 80 for all connection and forward request to the right site using the hostname.
Using KDE to make it look like GNOME, nice!
Just exec a fork bomb
I just wish they would use another name for it, it’s linux here no need to copy windows slang! Or use another color! (I hope they’ll update it to make it a customizable color)
Please yes, this could be awesome!
This! I use it since 2021 and even tho it miss critical feature I just want to support the project! If people can donate or create code for it please go ahead!
I have a hp server rack, with 6sas 4tb hdd and 2 sata 800gb ssd (for boot drive only) The main noise maker are clearly the HDD, at least I know when a linux iso is being download from my arr suite! But the HDD don’t make noise 24/7, just sometimes when there is a lot of write.
I’d recommend using a ssd as a cache for the spinnin rust, and another ssd for the boot drive of your OS (I use proxmox btw)
I just hope they don’t ruin the logo with too much minimalism. There are good submission in all of that
Good luck on this fork, I hope it can gain traction and will continue to be alive!
“Vodafone” is the ISP owning the IP address of the user who tried to loggin. So i’ts someone who is using vodafone as his ISP.
I seed more on public than on provate tbh, why? Because there are way more leechers on public than on private or even semi private, the number of time I keep a torrent to seed and it stays at a ratio of 0 because it’s a dark things that probably get downloaded once a year… So I use some fake seed software because otherwise I’m not able to see it anyway… it’s sad and don’t make me happy, but sometime it’s the only way…
Often, ISP spy on public tracker to see if you download stuff but way less on privates one. I guess it’s just a way of staying more private.
I’ve never pirated anything, of course, but I also never got a letter since I was switched to CGNAT
Seems like a good idea then, i’ll update the bio and link to your community :)
