That ain’t a real bike or it’s a trick. Those things are typically at least hundred pounds if not more.
That thin ass ladder doesn’t exhibit any stress at all.

👌👍
What a stupid, utter fucking waste of everyone’s time. Absolute worthless suit with no merit.
Yes you are asking for support. Even if you don’t understand that.
👌👍 whenever you say
More alarmist bill crap. Just going to make sure the public never wants to hear another privacy article again.
Metas glasses aren’t even particularly novel. They certainly ain’t the end of privacy.
Nobody cares. Why are you still posting this stuff a week later?
Jesus Christ 🤦♂️
The OS is over 10 years old. No one in Linux land gets that level of support either.
Windows 8 is over 10 years old and was EoL years ago. No distro is maintaining that level of support outside of corporate and even that’s in the specialized more expensive custom contracts.
The US is using 40% renewables, China a bit more, many smaller countries are testing 100% renewable days, ozone was mostly fixed iirc. Progress may be slow, but to say it’s not happening is factually very false.
The fact that you don’t think people use gestures is enough for me to believe you don’t have interactions with normal users. People love their touch pads.
Your entire paragraph is correct in most ways and really games the issues when Linux desktop in a nutshell. None of that will work for the average user.
My point was, the next time I see someone scream just use Linux, it’s easy, I will post this.
It’s not easy, and it’s somewhat baked in due to the design goals. IMO it would be better if that were accepted instead of bashing windows and osx. I realize I’m off topic by the end there but I felt the need to elaborate.
I mean what do you want? Me to answer a questionnaire and then we can have the rest of lemmy answer? And you can round up 50 or lemons? It can be a small little study!
For real, I’m about as center and middle of the road as you get. If you believe that the users on this forum are representative of the general population when top content is consistently femboys with thigh highs (and that’s not derogatory in ANY way) then I’m not sure what to tell you about your observations that make you think lemmy is even close to a generalized national/international persona.
Bashing a stupid goal is perfectly valid.
I’m going to post this thread anytime I get some random screaming about how Linux is soooo much easier than Windows.
On a more serious note, Wayland is a dumpster fire, and has been for many years now. I have up after spending a few hours dicking around in xdotool trying to get mouse gestures to work only to find out I should have been using the new ydotool…
Fuck all of that. Linux desktop really could use a benevolent dictator that has some vision and understanding what the average user wants.
This bullshit is the number 1 detractor of adoption.
Because it’s often easier, cheaper, and more efficient in cases that mirror public needs. Alerting, SMS, cloud storage, all are solved and competitively priced. And don’t get me wrong, there ARE use cases for doing certain things custom or internally. There will need to be a mix of things.
The issue, is having an appropriate SLA and having the ability to hold companies accountable when it’s not met. You need stated provisions that won’t happen. Most commercial enterprises already operate under this model successfully, however many of the tools don’t have SLAs around an earth quake. Most companies are willing to provide those provisions but it totally will come with extra cost which is typically not budgeted or sales teams or contracting officers are not equipped to have these conversations.
Everyone here who has used Plex has had fuck ups. Between finding corrupt movie files, Plex messing up meta data, or forgetting where I am in a movie (and between multiple devices this is especially bad); my list of Plex/xbmc fuck ups would far outpace any issues I have with the services.
In general most of the streaming services work just fine and have most features you need.
The biggest issue by far is the need for $140 in streaming services to get what you want. I’m probably just going back to cable IMO.
100%
It’s like watching an actor with an empty coffee cup.
