Thanks, it’s too bad that Apple hasn’t implements this yet.

No need to apologize for your English ability.
I have been trying to start a community here where people can ask English questions.
I can see a few mistakes with your grammar and I would be happy to help or answer any questions you may have.
Does she ever use the dex mode? This is particularly interesting to me, but it doesn’t seem that many people use their phone that way.
What do you think about the s20 as a device today?
I have an iPhone 15, but I need to have a backup phone on hand for my work. I was thinking of selling my old xr and getting the s20 as they cost about the same.
Not sure if it’s just better to hold onto the xr.
I’m referring to Samsung and dex mode. There are phones that do this, I just don’t know the official name.
I think they don’t know how to sell an iPad with macOS that restricted to the App Store.
I think they make way more money from the App Store than selling macs.
I think they were trying to find a way to combine the two lines and make them 100% App Store only.
I doubt it will be a decade or 2 we are basically there on iPad and android can do this. If Apple opens the flood gates on this devs will jump aboard quickly.
Smart phones would make mincemeat of older PCs? More like modern PCs. It’s pretty crazy when you consider how much more powerful and iPhone is than a laptop for around the same price.
Sure, if you shop smart you can do better, but still it’s more power than almost anyone needs.
I guess another reason Apple hasn’t done it as they would probably need to increase the amount of ram in the phones to make them run really well.
That’s so interesting. I hope that once they lose control of iOS, they allow iPads and even iPhone to run full macOS when docked.
It could work like the steamdeck where it can be in desktop or handheld mode. When in handheld mode, certain apps that run in the background, like Dropbox would stop running to maximize battery life or something.
Are you sure you can use a swap file with btrfs? I did not think you could do that. Maybe I was on old software last time I tried.
Does anybody really want this? I do not want to carry my license in my phone and then need to hand my phone over to stranger and even worse a police officer while I sit in my car phoneless and he is doing who knows what with it.
My only problem with this is that the docks are like $300. I guess igpus are getting good enough that I’ll probably never need a dgpu again.
Still surprised how well the steamdeck can handle resident evil 4 remake.
I really don’t need better graphics than that. In fact, they don’t even need to be that good.
Makes me wonder if this is a possible future. Just get a small nuc like computer and connect it to an egpu.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true. But in my mind, Linux gaming is basically perfect.
Luckily, I’m not into the kind of games that don’t work on Linux.
I think Apple dropped some stuff that would make it so 32 but apps wouldn’t work and a ton of games are 32 bit apps. But I’m not sure if they actually did that or just talked about it.
Thanks! I kinda assumed that it wouldn’t. But I also know how telecoms try to charge for everything.
I’m really happy to be reading your posts. I kind of forgot about the xps line and have been wanting a “cleaner” computer and something with better hardware.
I was looking at Mac’s but you get so little for the money you spend on them.
I think it’s similar cost with the xps line, but you get at least double the ram and storage.
I’ll probably go the XPS 15 when I’m ready to upgrade at this point.
I also would have random issues with that district each time I’ve tried it. Usually it’s due to some instructions for Ubuntu not working properly. But it’s still a bit annoying.
I just priced one out and you get about double the ram and 2-4x the storage space of the air.
So, while I agree they are expensive, they are nowhere near MacBook pricing. Mac pricing is insane.
Also there are two different body styles and one is like $400 more but the specs I think are the same otherwise.
It’s spelled “peach”. But I know what you mean, I really like aspberry tea.
