I had a response written but at one moment I wondered “is this what the writers of Picard told themselves too?”
Maybe TrekCorp isn’t at a place right now where they can tell a good standalone story without a clown car procession of cameos and references.

Can we get the Andor folks to make this? Turns out the extended story of a supporting character can be amazing when done well.

I felt like such a sorcerer when I crossed the threshold from just burning bootleg media to burning and running an ephemeral operating system.
Thanks for reminding me knoppix is still alive and kicking

So I’d personally already gone through the Internet backlash, and so when Bryan said, ‘Yeah, we’re going to do bald Klingons, like it’s gonna be tricky, man.’ And so everyone was salting the broth.
Sometimes you just gotta keep making the same mistake until you learn. At least this guy is humble and practical about it.

They have weapons. You have weapons. Everyone has weapons. But right now, no one has a clear advantage. So the price of peace is at an all-time low. This is the perfect time to sit down and hammer out an agreement. Don’t you get it? Attacking the Cardassians now will only escalate the conflict and make peace more expensive in the long run. Now, I ask you, is that logical?
Gorn Queen in 3…2…
I’m kidding, but also, please no.
