Unfortunately it no longer has the chrome OS and is running OpenSUSE Tumbleweed instead but I was able to get a design cut using my phone today. My old tablet refused to connect to the cutter, I think it might be too old.

Thanks for the tips and the link!

Thanks for the heads-up. I don’t use the Cricut all the time so an old tablet will probably do fine but I’ll also look into how to spin up VMs for things like this. Although I doubt my chrultrabook will be able to run windows due to its anemic specs.
Should be able to find official invites on the invite forums of other private trackers, however they may be inactive when you first find them. I had to wait a few months for an inactive thread I found to begin offering invites again.
Hi, it’s me. I’m one of those people. Currently test driving OpenSUSE Tumbleweed in KDE Plasma on an old Chromebook. Liking Linux well enough so far, and i have no special fondness for windows. Just need to find/learn Linux alternatives or work arounds for a few key things, like Cricut and SketchUp. Then I feel like I could easily switch over my main machine and never look back.
They were $1 million a pop last time around. But I’m sure that has gone up too, inflation ya know?
Seedboxes are great, and I can’t recommend Whatbox.ca enough. I’ve been with them for almost a decade and they have excellent documentation and support. I think I pay 15 bucks a month for 4tb storage and use it as a seed box first and foremost, a media server via Jellyfin and the arr suites, and a VPN with OpenVPN. To really get the most of it though you’ll need to be comfortable connecting to your server using ssh. Which is a command line environment, but it’s not too intimidating because of the excellent documentation that guides you step by step.
Charisma, like in DND. He has average to below average social skills basically.
Empress is making an MMO? Lol
Thanks for the link, friend! At a quick glance it seems over my head but I may try monkeying with this later.
Pardon my ignorance but is this something I can just download and use immediately, or do you have to open it in something special and monkey with it to get it to work?
Is there a non paywalled link to article?
Look up “red bean and rice recipes” and make yourself a bowl of comfort, friend. Goes great with cornbread.
Thanks! For some reason they wanted to write an article about this and then… Just not include the photo.
