I never trade in. Every old phone I’ve had has seen more use than the value of trading it. Most go to a relative then back to me for some secondary use. Plus it’s good to have a backup device in case something happens to your main phone.

Maybe you like the US because most media comes from there? If you feel you don’t belong in Germany you can try other cultures too. From there you have access to A LOT of countries just a train trip away. And at some point you could go to the US too to see what it’s really like.

Wish it worked like that with the lights. I don’t like artificial light so only have some back lights on or none at all most of the time. And will sleep until 1pm with two big windows without blinds in my room.

You should enable MFA yes. But it’s definitely not reasonable to expect a forced half-assed version of MFA that keeps changing when you DON’T enable MFA. OP should have migrated the account before wiping the phone but this behavior was not caused by them.
Apparently they’re called backup codes now. I could swear they used to be called airplane codes (because they’re offline ig). It’s just some randomly generated 8-digit codes.
The most annoying part is you may get this for a previous phone even if you have registered a new phone. If you really want to avoid Google’s forced MFA the best way is to actually enable MFA and generate some airplane codes. Those can generally be used regardless of what Google asks at the time and you can store them offline or even memorize a couple. Probably not as secure but at least you won’t get locked out.
The free version of Spotify is really not worth it. Even Youtube music gives you a better experience.
Do you get to choose it with a budget or they buy whatever cheap, uncomfortable thing was available? I’d much rather use my own equipment if I’m gonna be using it everyday.
It’s worse when you’re a pedestrian. If you swerve towards me and expect me to get out of your way you kinda have to tell me where you’re going. But if you walk a lot you get better at judging intentions by the changing speed of the car and distrasting blinkers.

I think the windows emoji picker has ascii emojis but yeah it’s missing from the others. If it’s only a couple you can add them to a shortcut or pin them on your clipboard.
