Wow I completely forgot about Grooveshark. I used to use it a lot

I have a small spot cleaner vacuum too and it works well. I just wish it wasn’t so damn loud. Feel bad for my neighbours when I use it
I don’t own a Mac outside of my work laptop. Like OP said in another reply, it’s likely because vendors pre-configure the system to work out of the box on Mac OS.
It’s just my anecdotal experience but writing off my comment as me justifying a purchase (that I haven’t made) is just silly and lazy discussion
FWIW, I use Linux on all my personal machines
I’ve found Mac OS is by far the best OS for getting printers to work tbh
I’ve been seeing legacy appended to a lot of things and it always annoys me. The one that annoys me the most is “Legacy News/Media”; as if the future of news is random blog or twitter posts.
I don’t really know much about cars but isn’t QNX already powering a lot of cars? I assume if Android’s powering anything, it’s just the entertainment system
I wasn’t aware of that. That definitely seems like a fair thing to criticise then
For sure, but the AUR poses a risk to any system if you’re not careful. I don’t think it’s really fair to blame Manjaro for that
That’s wrong though, isn’t it? AFAIK, Manjaro hosts their own repos with a focus on up to date but slightly more stable packages
Same here. I’ve used it on and off for years without any issues. My current install is around a year old and so far has been running smoothly.
I mostly keep it stock with GNOME and use it for dev work which it handles well
I’ll check that out, thanks!
Are there any tools that would make it easy to use with Sonarr or Radarr?
That’s something I’d love to try too! My main desktop is actually kind of similar. I bought a gutted Power Mac G5 case and stuck regular PC parts inside. It was a lot easier of a project though since it’s such a big case haha
I have a weird obsession with the cube. It’s such a cool looking computer even by today’s standards. If they didn’t cost a ridiculous amount of money on EBay, I’d buy one just to put on display
It’s often like this in Canada but not always. Usually depends on if the individual cans or bottles have barcodes and are labelled for individual sale.
I’ve never had a cashier get mad for attempting to buy an invididual can/bottle not marked properly though
Bluesky joining the fediverse. It’s built on the fediverse but doesn’t seem to have any plans to open up to it
Is it ordinary for them to request the ID number? I’m Canada they just do a quick glance at the birth date on your ID
I didn’t realise hackernews had an actual dedicated domain name. I’ve only ever accessed it from news.ycombinator.com
Can you not where you are? In Canada, you can just tell Canada Post to not deliver them and they’ll stop within a couple weeks
I’d love to see Justin Trudeau take on Trump since he has boxing experience
