I’m experimenting with Pop_OS on a laptop as my daily driver after playing with different distros in VM environments over the years. There’s definitely a learning curve, but so far so good.
Back when we saw the death of the floppy disk, I knew optical media’s days were numbered. Twenty years ago we had no idea that everything was going to be “something as a service.” Enshitification hadn’t been invented yet.
Guess I’m done talking shit about Clippy.
Any recommendations on a piracy-friendly e-reader? I don’t want to go around the world to get root access either if I can help it.
