I was just now working on a small indash computer running scrcpy to copy my phone screen to a 7inch touch display, and use this. It was supposed to be my drop in upgrade for my car.

I love Wayland until I don’t. I honestly don’t think about it, it gets out of my way and my system is stable, until I go to use something like scrcpy that just doesn’t work at all. Luckily, the amount of things that straight up don’t work is shrinking.

I used logseq for my first semester of university and I can’t see any reason to switch right now.

It handles markdown and KaTeX, so it handles everything I need really, in a fast simple program.

I have a standing theory that once a person is no longer concerned about their welfare or the welfare of their descendants, they go crazy.

Like, once you reach a point where survival is no longer a problem, that part of your brain goes nuts. It’s not a flawless theory, since philanthropy is a thing and people like Dean Kamen exist, but it’s a thing that seems to happen an awful lot.

It’s a nightmare when working in groups for uni, so I just email everyone. Email has all the features I like.

That’s the most frustrating thing. I have 3 mesh waps in my house, but if you connect in a different room you get 2.4ghz. At this point I need a mesh wap in every room.

I own many many hard books that I’ve purchased or had ordered from my local bookstores.

I also have a kindle that I use every evening and have never paid for an ebook.

It’s a nightmare. I couldn’t find a method that worked so I ended up using an older PDF.

I stopped for a long time, but I’ve continued with the launches of things like Metalocalypse or Venture Bros. Smaller productions that I want to support but aren’t streaming in my country.

Heck, back when Metalocalypse released their first movie there was a limited edition version with a skull cup that was only available in Australia for some reason. I imported the set for my SO, and I had to rip the bluray myself :/
