Ohh yes I approve this modification
Someone please make a mattress out of it!!
The modern state of Israel was planted due to Germany’s quite recent atrocities, so that seems like the best place find land in a fair world.
I know someone in West VA (US) who puts waste from their sawdust toilets on the compost pile. As long as it’s composted properly I don’t see an issue
I like the aldi model with no bags—when you forget a bag you look for an empty box. Not ideal for people who walked though.
Modern SUVs will already crush the smaller cars, don’t have to get a special car for that
Nice! I’ve been using the clean links app on ios but this will eliminate a step.
Yeah and they’re constantly adding phenomenal user requested features in their updates (even for the original kickstarter device that I have). A libgen app would be convenient!
The remarkable is so dreamy
You might try speaking with a medical professional for help with your kid in specific?
It seems like there would be some parent groups earmarked for this purpose too. A cursory google game up with a forum called Trans Families, for example.
Crazy how the declination in the office culture translates to such an obvious downturn from a public perspective as well.
And I think the more you sort of say to people, “You’re one of them,” I think the more you leave them little room, and you’re pushing them towards those extremists.
I think we would benefit from keeping this in mind more. There’s some rampant labeling online, sometimes just based on a profile photo, that practically traps some people into shitty views. As much as it’s fun to OK boomer or Karen people, that shit is probably very alienating in a way that isn’t leaving a clear path back into the fold of moral approval.
IMO whether abortion turns out to be a negative or a positive right depends on the laws in the country in question. In the US the legal status of abortion is currently up to the states. In the couple states where abortion is explicitly a legal right you have a positive right to an abortion. That is, the state will ensure you have access to one.
In most states it’s a negative right—the state guarantees that if you pursue an abortion you’ll be protected from people who might want to hurt you for doing it. Sort of like being protected from religious persecution is a negative right in many places.
So, to me whether abortion is a positive or negative right (or not a right at all) depends on the legal jurisdiction.
“You did not help me plant the grain, and you did not help me care for it. You did not help me cut it and take it to the mill. You did not help me make the bread. I will eat it myself." And she did.
I agree it’s a bizarre take—they’re a judge, not a settlement lawyer! You’d think a judge’s training would be to consider the general implications of the problem being brought to them given that that’s kinda their job.
Google says there are about 160M employed people in the US, so 72M is roughly 45% of the workforce. Vs 5% of the wealth. crazy.
Judge to Epic: So if google extended the same deal to you would you be down?
Epic: No, it’s anticompetitive
Judge: But if you’re getting the same deal deal as spotify it’s fair…
Epic: No, it’s anticompetitive
I won’t be happy until we have a hologram cortana
