eternity is amazing and works really well, I’ve had no issues so far
I don’t know, but one time I tried some of my mods didn’t work, and it runs fine on proton anyway so I don’t mind.
nope, but I like using windows targeted KSP mods
it’s just a vibe we like
things like lowercase i and not having periods contribute to that vibe as well
it’s good, but not perfect. KSP through proton works perfectly though, so I don’t mind
wow that’s so surprising cant believe capitalistic profit centric big tech would do that oh my god no way
this is such a great app, thank you for forking it! I’ve had a flawless experience so far (except the other comment loading issue, but pretty sure thats a 0.18.4 issue not infinity)
4th gen is very old, so windows being really bloated and inefficient probably cut support for it.
Try linux if you are interested. The day to day performance is actually really good (except gaming ofc)
it’s not going to stop unless you have a good replacement
it works on my kde neon by default
they’re too micro soft to acknowledge that bash is better than cmd
I don’t think debian is good for first time users because:
imagine being able to talk about how Reddit is down on reddit, the fediverse is literally black magic
I usually just link to sh.itjust.works because I like the admin there and think he’s cool
also it’s not too big like lemmy world
Also I think it’s better to subtly convert redditors to lemmies by posting content from lemmy, that way they’ll discover it themselves
i love this theme, the thin colours are beautiful
tbh I like mint, but for people that want to learn linux I think ubuntu is better.
There’s more people using it, so you get better support, and there’s other flavpurs available so things like kde and xfce are supported well right out the box
I don’t recommend wsl because it bodges the worst part of windows (windows terminal) onto linux. Also, it’s much nicer to learn in a vm where you are learning actual linux, instead of MS’ interpretation of linux.
It’s like playing with clay in a bag, versus playing with clay with your bare hands.
everyone that posts about reddit probably thinks that as well
The problem with c/fuckcars is that a lot of people there aren’t people wanting public transit and pedestrian/bike infrastructure, but normies that simple mindedly complain about cars. I’m willing to bet that ~20% of them are there because they hate the cars that get them stuck in traffic, but don’t care about driving their own car everywhere.
