I had an option to get blue light filtering glasses for like $5 extra, didn’t see much different when using them but I did notice the lenses turned a little bit yellow from the sun after a few years unlike previous similar glasses.

If he wants something similar to windows, get Linux mint, it’s the best parts of Debian/Ubuntu but made modern. If you can do it on Ubuntu, you can do it in mint (like online guides cuz mint is based on ubuntu if you couldn’t tell).

After using owncloud, nextcloud, and file browser, I found file browser to be a lot easier to use and it does everything I need. I don’t need video players or PDF viewer, just simple ui for file broswing.
