It happens on device before your carrier. So you don’t have to pay for voicemail. Big unexpected surprise for me (as I don’t have vm). Otherwise it’s on the fly and instant. Thought I wouldn’t care but sending unknow callers there is slick.

But 1password has on going audits and a sane ui and mobile apps that pass the boomer-parent test. Canadian company too which is nice given the US centric tech world.

I don’t understand what this provides. They already make it so you don’t have to give out credit card info. Is it just to avoid bank fees in some way? Avoid banking regulation?

I think it’s trying to say that the gasoline cars have no fuel in them when transported (thus less fire risk) versus the batteries which can still burn when “empty” (which I doubt they are)

I’ve never liked the Python ggplot-like alternatives. The plot construction always felt limited and I’d run into weird bugs. However, this looks the closest to ggplot in how the plots are constructed. I dislike R but the tidy verse + ggplot combo is just so good. I end up using Python and r together a lot, so having even a half decent ggplot-python could be great. Has anyone with significant ggplot experience used this and can comment on how close it really is?
