I’m slightly claustrophobic, but it has never impacted my life. Elevator? Fine. Tiny closet? Fine. But a cave where you have to crawl for more than a few seconds? I’d die right there.

The nvidia driver has had this bug for a year now, still unfixed. Games will randomly crash with an Xid 109 error in dmesg. Some people (including myself) are unable to play games like Cyberpunk, Resident Evil 2-3-4-7-8 and Metro Exodus. And it’s not linked to proton either, it sometimes also crashes xorg itself, forcing a reboot. I’m starting to think nvidia will never bother fixing it.
In black desert’s case, there’s no chance they would ever allow anyone to play without a kernel anti cheat, which EAC doesn’t allow on linux. The game is literally all grind, if bots could run on linux it would absolutely ravage the already shit economy.
I’m reading this at night though. Think of all the poor souls that will get flashbanged in the next few hours.
Most websites use them. Smaller file -> less bandwidth -> lower costs.
Isn’t that what we’re both doing right now, getting our brains fried by social media?
I assume they wrote it as 5000 and it got changed to 5E3 by the minifier as it saves a byte?
The ports do, it’s just that they’re built in every kernel nowadays.
