You should look up a lot of things
If Mastodon wanted to be preferred, it should have been better. I moved to Mastodon over a year ago when the Twitter sale first happened. It was not great then and it’s gotten slightly worse since. I created a Bluesky account two days ago and it already offers exactly the experience I missed from Twitter before Elon.
Would it be better if Mastodon was good and the federated FOSS option was superior? Sure, absolutely. But, that scenario isn’t even close to the case we are presented with.
It’s a boot manager, technically.
People are still using GRUB to dual boot? It’s not 2010 anymore. systemd-boot is the objectively superior choice.
pCloud sells itself as a privacy-focused alternative to Dropbox, Google, iCloud, etc. They’re running a deal right now on lifetime accounts, too.
I’ve been using a Yubikey for years and I’m quite happy.
She doesn’t, but she doesn’t have a usecase for it. I used it a lot. My work takes me to a lot of different sites run by my company and all our desk workstations have a USB-C dock with monitors, a mouse, and a keyboard. So, if I was unexpectedly without my laptop, I could work reasonably well with just my phone plugged in.
My wife is still using her S20+ and has no intention of changing anytime soon. I think it’s still a really solid device that should stick around for a while.
Dex mode and spoofing magnetic strips are the two things I really miss about using a Samsung device.
Yup, it was a very solid OS. It’s similar to how people remember XP, but what they really remember is XP Service Pack 2 which was the rock solid version.
Auto-Type will be disabled when run with a Wayland compositor on Linux. To use Auto-Type in this environment, you must set QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb or start KeePassXC with the -platform xcb command-line flag.

This works for me.
Brah, how often are you logging into services on your set top box?
This is the absolute dumbest take.
If you can’t remember the IP address of every site you’d like to visit, you don’t deserve the internet.
It’s implicit in your comment above. Arguing otherwise is in bad faith.
It also shouldn’t generate excessive waste in spending. It’s not a binary of profit vs. public good.
It is not a states’ rights issue, at least not exclusively or primarily. Where’d you get your law degree, Quiznos?
The Court issues orders requiring compliance with the holding. If the state officials remain in defiance, then US Marshals arrest the noncompliant state officials, if necessary the President will order the federalizing of the National Guard to provide security to sites and personnel and to ensure compliance with federal law, and so on. Basically the full authority of the federal government being used to bring a rebellious state government to heel.
Love the Pax MAGA:
Russia moves west until Putin doesn’t need to drum up nationalist fervor back home;
Israel gets all the weapons it needs to control every inch of the Mediterranean coast from the Suez to Turkey;
All US troops out of South Korea and IDK probably an arms sale to the DPRK;
The Seventh Fleet gets permanently reassigned to patrol the California coast as some immigration stunt and to make Pooh happy;
Probably a tactical nuke dropped on Tehran.
Seems awesome, right?
