I’m in this picture and I don’t like it.

After I put in my notice at a previous employer I was explicitly told by management at the end of the day to not return to work out my notice, my resignation was accepted immediately.

When I did not come in to work the next day I was fired for a “no call, no show.” It was just one more way to fuck me over on the way out the door.

If I had the time, resources, and knowledge I could have had a legal case but I was just thankful to be leaving such a toxic hellhole.

And hell for many more.

The other option is creating a reliable, high quality product that people want and creates value for the user. This was how most businesses operated before Jack Fucking Welch.

But it’s easier to force slop, ads, and slop-made ads on people.

I’m old enough to remember when the advice people gave to deal with a bully was “Beat their ass and they’ll stop.”

But bullies somehow changed the narrative to where fighting back was wrong. It’s not. Self defense is never wrong. The only people that argue this are bullies.

Some people only speak the language of violence, and if you want them to understand your reply it must be delivered in a way they understand.

Bullies do not self correct their behavior. They find it rewarding and it continues until they are stopped.

They can dream up any nonsense and slap it on a warrant, so it’s not really that big of a hindrance to get one. They can get one for a different person at a different address, still come shoot you in your own home and walk away with a paid vacation.

Or stand up specials. So much comedy on YouTube and they just drop Dick Pills ^TM commercials in the middle of punchlines.

We really are getting all media turned into the radio from Demolition Man.

If I go to YouTube to watch a trailer for an upcoming movie THAT IS THE AD. I don’t need a different ad (and definitely not 2-3) first. Get your money from the corpos putting the trailer up.

The Marvel movie Thunderbolts has 4 main trailers on YouTube right now. Those have 9.6, 14, 15, and 21 million views. Marvel/Disney should be paying YouTube for 60m ad impressions. The fee shouldn’t be taken out of my free time.

The more they attack someone verbally the more threats that person will receive from their cult.

It’s not about their rage changing anyone’s mind. It’s the threats of violence that follow. Those can make people fall in line or go into hiding and either of those is a win for the oppressors.

They have told writers to dumb things down and have the characters speak aloud what they’re doing because so many people doom scroll while it’s on in the background.

There not making quality. They’re making elevator music for your home.
