Once the Trump regime is in full swing, they’ll be sending the military to capture or simply extrajudicially execute any journalists that aren’t licking the boot.
I guarantee there’s something in that report we don’t know. Concealing the report already implies the allegations are true. It doesn’t actually save face at all. There’s either more victims, or it implicates someone else.
Textbook Lizardman Constant right there at the bottom.
There is much, much more overlap between them than you may think.
This may sound pedantic, but you’re looking for Fairtrade (one word) for the organization with the strictest vetting standards. Fair Trade (two words) isn’t regulated and just means they follow some sort of ethical code. It’s not necessarily bad, but it warrants more product specific research.
“Something I hope we can do no matter who you voted for is see each other not as adversaries but as fellow Americans, Bring down the temperature.”
No. Human rights aren’t a disagreement. We can disagree on whether or not we enjoyed a movie or on what pizza toppings we prefer. But if the disagreement is that you want to kill me or people I care about, you are, by definition, my adversary.
Right wingers making memes of characters that they had absolutely no idea were making fun of them is one of my least favorite meme genres.
States are free to run their elections however they want, as long as they end up sending the correct number of electors to DC. You’d think the “states rights” crowd would know and support that.
They needed to go scorched earth on SEO years ago. Try anything even vaguely grey-hat, your domain is permanently blacklisted from all search results. No appeals, no second chances, your content will never see the light of day again.
They like to claim the low unemployment is somehow a bad thing. If you dig into why, it’s basically because when employees are harder to replace, they’re harder to exploit, so working conditions and wages improve while shareholder profits slightly decrease, and they focus entirely on the latter.
He’s like any of the other right wing grifters, only even more openly racist.
The ÷ sign isn’t used by “Americans”, it’s used by small children. As soon as you learn basic mathematical notation in your introductory algebra class, you’ve outgrown the use of that symbol.
It’s just an inconvenient one. It makes it a lot harder to jerk about how “complex” the situation is when there’s such an obvious villain. Everything Hamas has done, Netanyahu is an accomplice to.
Now that’s not entirely fair. Some are both.
There should be some sort of law where if you want to offload decisions to AI, the person who decides to let the AI make those decisions needs to step up to take full civil and criminal liability for everything it does.
No, but you do pronounce it in salmonella. English is not a language governed by logic.
The danger of AI isn’t that it’s “too smart”. It’s that it’s able to be stupid faster. If you offload real decisions to a machine without any human oversight, it can make more mistakes in a second than even the most efficient human idiot can make in a week.
Maybe if one side wasn’t an openly theocratic fascist party that wants women to be property and anyone who isn’t a straight white Christian to be dead, it would be easier to get along. I’m going to be hostile towards Republicans for the same reason I’d be hostile to someone pointing a gun at me.
I think what’s going to happen is they’ll slow walk the investigation, and we’ll get definitive proof after the inauguration, and then nothing will happen. It’s a demoralization tactic.
